Miley Cyrus Denies Cheating On Liam Hemsworth In A Series Of Emotional Tweets

Many people took this as a sign that Miley had not been faithful to Liam during their marriage and that was the reason they had split up.

She began by explaining that she knows her profession means living a public life, and went on to detail some of the less 'perfect' aspects of her public image, including being known for partying and being unfaithful in past relationships.

Miley was upfront about her drug use and her lyrics in her hit song We Can't Stop, which includes the lines "Dancing with Molly" and "Everyone in line in the bathroom trying to get a line in the bathroom."

It's not exactly clear if she's referring to her relationship with Liam from 2009-2013, or other relationships she had while they were broken up.

She referenced a controversial video that was leaked in 2010. The video showed Miley taking a hit from the bong and rapping along to a Nicki Minaj song.

Fellow former Disney star Selena Gomez was eventually brought onto the film and it's sequels after Miley's exit. While many were suspicious that the inappropriate birthday cake was the reason, Miley herself has now confirmed it.

Her smash hit Wrecking Ball was written and released after Miley and Liam split in 2013 and it is widely believed that the song is about the downfall of their relationship.

This one is probably not meant to be literal, but Miley's affinity for nudity and sharing risque photos is well-known and she doesn't shy away from it.

Miley reiterates that she is an adult and that her behavior as a teenager has no influence on her behavior now and that she would not do that to Liam.

She plainly states that "Liam and I have been together for a decade," and that "I've said it before & it remains true. I love Liam and always will."

Miley claimed to be the healthiest and happiest she has been in a long time, and admitted she doesn't care what people call her as long as they know she is not a liar.

Miley ended her twitter rant by saying she's proud of who she has become and where she is in her life.

Though he's the one who filed for divorce in LA this week, citing 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason, Liam had nothing but kind words when he took to Instagram.

"I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward. This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false. Peace and Love."

The song, Slide Away, references Miley "not being 17" anymore, and stating that she doesn't want "the whiskey and the pills" which might allude to rumors that Liam's substance use contributed to the couple's split, although sources from Liam's side passionately deny these claims.
