Jerry Seinfeld Hilariously Photobombed His Daughter's Prom Pictures

Every parent knows there are milestones in their child's life that they look forward to as they grow up. From graduations to birthdays, first loves and first heartbreaks — some moments we look back on and remember fondly as they grow older. Of course, every parent knows that for some kids, high school prom is a night they spend years looking forward to.

From freshman year, every high school student dreams of their prom night.

High school girls think about the perfect dress, and high school boys plan their "promposals" and think about who they'll take. From freshman year to senior year, your children spend so much time in school with friends — it's a night to celebrate all of their accomplishments together.

Every prom has a few steps leading up to the big night.

After the hair, the makeup, getting the dress on, exchanging flowers and awkward glances every parent knows that taking those prom photos are the most important moment of the night (for them at least).

There those photos you'll frame and look back on for years to come.

As parents, we make our kids pose over and over again to get images we can frame, put in albums, and carry in our wallets until our kids have their own kids — then we pull them out to embarrass them and laugh.

But, there's no better moment than playing pranks on your own kids.

While our kids are obsessing over their hair and makeup, we love to mess with them just a little bit. There's no love quite like the love a mom and dad give.

If anyone knows how to do it right, it's comedian Jerry Seinfeld.

Seinfeld's daughter, Sascha, graduated high school this week. Of course, she celebrated her prom, which her mother Jessica documented on Instagram through various stunning photos of her dresses for the special ocassions.

Jessica Seinfeld posted stunning photos of Sascha with her boyfriend, Jack.

The turning point in her life was probably emotional for both Jerry and Jessica, watching their little girl go to prom, graduate, and then eventually head off to college on her own.

Of course, Jerry Seinfeld couldn't resist an opportunity to photobomb his daughter's prom photos.

Jessica posted the photo saying: "I could not resist posting Couple of The Year and Jerry’s Rear." Clearly, Jerry is bending over (on purpose) in the back of the prom picture, sticking his rear out for the whole world.

People online were quick to crack a few jokes over the photobomb.

One Instagram account parodied Seinfeld's series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee with a new name—"Comedians in Shrubbery Bending Over." A true classic—and, something I'd probably watch on Netflix for sure.

Another made a quick joke about Jerry's position.

One person added that it's simply Jerry's iPhone pic taking stance. Butt back. Camera out. Obviously, Jerry knows a thing or two about posing if he's living with a teenage girl in today's social media age.

And, our favorite comment of all came from a "Seinfeld" fan.

Any Seinfeld fan knows this episode and totally made the reference in their own minds before finding it in the comments section. Clearly, Jerry hasn't lost his touch in the comedy world.

Jerry isn't the only celebrity parent who loves to embarrass his children.

Celebrities are people too, and just like we love to embarrass our kids, they love to embarrass theirs. The only difference is they have HUGE audiences with which to do that.

David Beckham LIVES to embarrass his children.

When his son Brooklyn made a video celebrating reaching a million followers on Instagram, David appeared in the comments section to boast that HE had 52 million. Brooklyn deleted the video, which I would do too if my dad showed me up like that.

It's a couples' activity — Victoria Beckham also loves to embarrass their kids.

Posh Spice posted this adorable shot of her boys, making sure to point out that Brooklyn loved "his new doll." Poor Brooklyn!

Will Smith is notorious for embarrassing his son Jaden.

Whether he's reposting pictures of Jaden making fun of what he's posted (like above) or just sharing adorable pictures that no teenager in their right mind wants their parents sharing on social media, Will really proves that parents just don't understand.

Jaden isn't Will's only kid to face his wrath.

Will's oldest son Trey shared this shot on his Instagram, which shows he at least has a good sense of humor about his dad's public displays of fatherly affection.

King and Queen of comedy Judd Apatow and his wife Leslie Mann are also in on it.

Unsurprising, given their comedic roots. At least when your parents are comedians, when they embarrass you it'll be in a funny way, like Judd did in this hilarious caption.

Their daughter Iris (obviously) has a sense of humor about it.

If you have two funny parents, you probably also grow up to be pretty funny. In this photo Iris notes that laughing at her dad's jokes is pretty rare, but I would be willing to bet she's lying.

That's why Sascha Seinfeld probably is taking her dad's photobombing in stride.

With two funny parents, and one of them being one of the greatest comedians of all time, she's definitely learned to take a joke by now. Besides, graduation is such an exciting time, there's not a spare moment to get too bothered about what your parents are doing.

Like any parents, Jessica and Jerry Seinfeld had a lot to celebrate.

Aside from embarrassing their teenage daughter, that is.

Jessica Seinfeld posted a gorgeous photo of their daughter on her graduation day, saying, "ConGraduations to all class of 2019er’s, but specifically to our firstborn."

It's truly a moment they will remember forever.

Celebrities or not, famous parents are just like us — they celebrate life's little moments and still find time to make a fool of themselves to look back on and laugh at for years to come.
