Carrie Fisher's Daughter Paid A Heartbreaking Tribute To Her Mom On Her Birthday

We're all still mourning the loss of Carrie Fisher, who passed away on December 27th, 2016 from cardiac arrest. No one is mourning the loss of the firecracker actress and beloved mother more than her daughter, fellow actress Billie Lourd.

Billie is likely a familiar face to you if you've seen 'Scream Queens.'

She's also starred in American Horror Story: 1984 and made a brief appearance alongside her mother in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.

Billie shared a post on her Instagram page discussing how she handles her grief on her mother's birthday.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMB," she began. "Today would have been my Momby’s 63rd birthday. Not that I'm some kind of grief expert by any means..."

"... but on milestones (or whatever you like to call them) like this, I like to celebrate her by doing things that she loved to do."

"So here’s a little video of me singing one of her favorite songs (American girl by Tom petty) in one of her favorite places (her bathtub of course)."

Billie then finished off by saying she would be indulging in more of her mother's favorites afterwards.

"I’ll probably have a pint of vanilla Haggen Dazs and a Coca Cola for dinner," she wrote.

You can listen to part of her beautiful tribute here.
