An Underage Man Was Arrested With McLovin ID And Seth Rogen Had The Best Response

An underage man in Iowa was arrested with a fake "McLovin" ID in his wallet, and Seth Rogen had the most hilarious response to it.

"Superbad" fans were probably shocked to see headlines that read a an underage man was arrested after using a fake "McLovin" ID last week.

12 years since Superbad was released, and it's still making its rounds on the web, one way or another.

20-year-old Daniel Alfredo Burleson was arrested last week for attempting to get into an Iowa bar under age.

Attempting to use a fake ID is a right of passage for most people when they're underage. But this fake ID distinctly copied the same iconic fake ID from Superbad.

The fake Hawaiian driver's license had the exact same name and date of birth as the fake one used by Fogell.

The suspect alleged that he purchased the ID on Amazon.

Seriously? What can't you buy on Amazon?!

According to Fox 11, the police spotted him outside with an alcoholic beverage in his hand — prompting some further investigation.

The police claim that initially, the man refused to hand over any identification.

The police, however, spotted an ID in the suspect's wallet that listed his name as McLovin, born on June 3, 1981.

Unfortunately, the authorities did not find his fake ID quite as amusing as we do...

News of the man's arrest eventually caught the attention of one of the writers of "Superbad", Seth Rogen.

Initially, he explained on Instagram that the sole purpose for joining a pottery class was to make his own ashtrays.

"So maybe I joined a pottery studio so I could start making my own ashtrays," he wrote.

Week by week he's been keeping his fans up to date on his progress, and honestly, he's gotten quite good.

Vases with matching ashtrays eventually became his signature.

Comments from friends and fans have been flooding in every week, asking how they can get their hands on these matching sets.

Unintentionally, his business is kinda booming rn!

Pottery seems to be a point of pride for him. But so what finding out that his movie "Superbad" is still leaving a major impression on young people.

I'm honestly impressed.

Fans are jokingly telling Seth to pay for the man's legal bills.

I mean, if not for the influence of Superbad, would he still have ended up in jail?

Others are using this story as confirmation that "Superbad" is the best movie ever.

It is most definitely a staple in cinematic history. Don't @ me.

Some are applauding Seth for changing the world forever.

Life would not be the same if Superbad never existed. It's a huge piece of pop-culture that will go down in history!

Moral of the story: It's not impossible to get a shout out from a major celebrity on Twitter. But at what cost?
