I don't know if you've heard (or if you've been living under a rock), but Supernatural is ending this year.
I don't know if you've heard (or if you've been living under a rock), but Supernatural is ending this year.
Stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan decided to send it off in style — with matching tattoos!
Obviously, Jensen and Jared are the stars of Supernatural.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan, however, has only appeared in 13 episodes of the show. However, those episodes were incredibly important, considering he played Sam and Dean's dad, John Winchester.
Supernatural stans reading this: I had to explain this simply! We good?
Even though Jeffrey Dean Morgan (JDM, for short) wasn't always on set, the three formed a solid bond.
They do conventions together, attend each other's weddings, and now? They get tattoos together!
The two began dating in 2009. Hilarie gave birth to their son in 2010, and a daughter 8 years later in 2018.
As Hilarie wrote on Instagram: "Here’s the God’s honest fact: From the moment I met @jeffreydeanmorgan , he was my husband."
Hilarie wrote in the same Instagram post that they celebrated their wedding in their own, personal way.
As she described it, they had an "intimate circle of family and friends" join them for their wedding.
In fact, Jensen played a particularly large role: he and JDM's Walking Dead co-star, Norman Reedus, officiated the wedding.
Having a Winchester and Daryl Dixon marry you? Those two just lived out a geek dream.
Jeffrey and Hilarie actually met on a blind date set up by Jensen and his wife, Danneel Ackles.
Daneel knew Hilarie from when they were co-stars on One Tree Hill. Add them together, and boom! A perfect match.
They had artist Mike Lucena set up shop at the reception and tattoo anyone who wanted to get one.
Hilarie herself got one and wrote that Jeffrey was already encouraging her to get a sleeve.
He wrote:
"Me and @hilarieburton weren’t the only ones joined for life.... @jaredpadalecki @jensenackles and myself will forever have a bond that is both special, and permanent. Love you both dearly #spnfamily @mikelucena73"
Jared rolled up to the post to leave this sweet comment. Jeffrey replied and said, "#kongsforever!!!" back at him.
What does "kongs forever" mean? We'll find out in a second, don't rush me!
Everyone was insanely curious about the ink the trio wound up getting. Comments ranged from "what did you get?" to "NEED PICTURES PLS."
And by people, I mean me.
Some very eagle-eyed fans noticed that Jared was sporting some new ink at an event a few days after the wedding.
It's a good chance that the crown there is the tattoo since it's in the exact same place that he was getting his tattoo in JDM's post.
I can't tell you how many times I accidentally typed "kings" when trying to type "kongs."
Which leads me to my theory that they got a crown to represent "kings." Maybe "kongs" is an inside autocorrect joke?
My favorite part of this is the reference to Hilarie's character, Peyton, in One Tree Hill.
My second favorite part is the casual use of "my TV brothers." Not favorite TV brothers. Just TV brothers. That's so cute.
The release of Avengers: Endgame marked the end of the original Avengers squad.
The five all got an "A" intersecting the number 6, representing Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, and Hawkeye.
What gives, Mark?
