Looks like Kaitlynn Carter is still feeling salty over her short-lived relationship with Miley Cyrus because she recently posted a quote to her Instagram story, throwing some serious shade!

Uh, Kaitlynn Carter Definitely Just Shaded Miley Cyrus On Instagram
While we were all still trying to comprehend Miley Cyrus' split from Liam Hemsworth, she had already moved on with Brody Jenner's ex-wife, Kaitlynn Carter.

By mid-August, a source revealed that it was clear Miley and Kaitlynn were an item.
“They were obsessed with each other. They couldn’t keep their hands off each other,” the source said about Miley and Kaitlynn at a Hollywood party together.

“They were kissing and making out everywhere. In the bathroom, at the bar, in the middle of the floor. They were basically having sex. There’s no question they’re together.”
Just days after that, it was revealed that Miley, Liam, Kaitlynn, and Brody used to be couple friends.

“I have had a lot of conversations with Kaitlynn during the season, and she and Miley and Liam and Brody would always hang out together,"The Hills: New Beginnings costar, Ashley Wahler, told Access Hollywood.
"So I know they’ve been friends for a long time,” she added.

At the beginning of September, Miley and Kaitlynn took their relationship to the next level and decided to move in together.
“They live together and are very happy,” a source told People.

“Miley is doing great. She is moving on. She seems to have no regrets. She loves being with Kaitlynn."
But about two weeks later — only four weeks from when they started dating — the pair reportedly split.

“Miley and Kaitlyn broke up. They’re still friends," a source revealed to People.
"They’ve been friends forever and were there for each other when they were both getting separated," the source continued.

"But they’re just not in a romantic relationship anymore."
It hasn't taken Miley very long to recover from their breakup, however. Last week, TMZ published photos of Miley and Cody Simpson on a date, showing a ton of PDA.

The pair were spotted kissing at an açai restaurant.
She then posted this photo of Cody to her Instagram story.

Just the other day, Miley called Cody her new boyfriend.

Moments after posting this selfie of herself in the hospital to her Instagram story, she posted a photo of Cody Simpson arriving.

But you know who doesn't find this cute or amusing at all? Miley's recent ex, Kaitlynn Carter.
Kaitlynn's BFF, Becca Tilley, used this opportunity to call out Miley in her podcast, "Scrubbing In".

She implied that Miley has been disrespectful to Kaitlynn by flaunting her new flame all over social media.
“Yeah, I don’t know. I’m friends with Kaitlynn, so,” Becca said.

“I think when you’re in a relationship or, like, seen with anyone, like, out of respect to that person, it’s maybe, like...”
“Obviously, Miley shouldn’t have to date in her home,” Becca continued.

“But it’s like, you know there’s photos everywhere, you know?"
We're safely assuming that Becca had full permission from Kaitlynn to make this comment.
Just hours after that episode of Becca's podcast hit the airwaves, Kaitlynn posted a dramatic quote to her Instagram story, throwing major shade at Miley.

We know that Miley's been happily vacationing in the honeymoon phase in her relationship with Cody, but she's had some Instagram activity that seems pretty suspicious.
Take for instance this post that was shared by Vice on Instagram.
Miley felt that she connected with something in the post, since she liked it.

The caption calls out those who have ended relationships through ghosting or "fizzing" which is short for fizzling. Miley didn't just LIKE the post, though.
She took the time to comment.

She kept it short and simple (and not so sweet) with just "#dignity." Some took this as a sign that she had been recently ghosted, although it's not quite clear if she's referring to Kaitlynn or Liam.
Miley was also called out by an Instagram user who pointed out she used the same filter on her pictures with all three of her most recent boos.

Of course, we all have our favorite filters, and it's definitely not a crime to reuse them if you like them. Miley found the humor in it all.
She left on a comment on that post as well.

Something tells me that even with Kaitlynn potentially shading her on Instagram, Miley is not bothered in the slightest.
