Dancer, actress, talent show judge, and all-around star Julianne Hough knows she's living a totally blessed life, and not all because of her fame and fortune.
She recently opened up to Women's Health about her "massive transformation".
“I’ve been de-layering all the survival tactics I’ve built up my whole life,” she said. “Now, I feel limitless."
She recalled some of her Instagram followers telling her they wanted to dance just like her.
“What does that even mean?" she said. “I have no boundaries when I dance, which is exactly what sparked the original idea of Kingry."
“When that happens, they can relate to the people around them with no filter. Experience the world how we’re supposed to experience it—in its most pure form, which I believe is love.”
“I was connecting to the woman inside that doesn’t need anything, versus the little girl that looked to him to protect me,” she recalled. "But the more I dropped into my most authentic self, the more attracted he was to me."
The new-found intimacy eventually led to Julianne opening up to her husband about the realities of her sexuality, that she had never shared with him before.
"I [told my husband], ‘You know I’m not straight, right?’ And he was like, ‘I’m sorry what?'” she recalled. “I was like, ‘I’m not. But I choose to be with you.’"
Her husband, hockey player Brooks Laich, wrote on Instagram, "So proud of my wife @juleshough for the woman she is, and her courage to share her journey of trials and triumphs!"
Speaking to Extra, Julianne said, "I feel really lucky, and a lot of people who don’t have the platform or the support that I have aren’t that lucky."
“So I just want to say I’m super grateful for my family, my friends and the support from all my fans that I’ve had. But also to spread that … to the people who don’t have that kind of support. That would be my wish.”
Yes. I know. I'm so sorry.
"Hey, we play around. Why not?"
For the record, he revealed this very private information on his podcast.
On whether he'd have her suck his toes: "No, I would never," he said.
"My toes are in skates and workout shoes. I can shower and soap them up, but I would never."
That's probably for the best, tbh.
‘Let me clear that up.’ He likes to suck on my toes, I don’t like it!" she revealed.
You're welcome.
