Oh boy! If you thought we were done talking about remakes and revivals, you had a whole other thing coming.
Practical Magic is coming to HBO, folks.
Oh boy! If you thought we were done talking about remakes and revivals, you had a whole other thing coming.
Practical Magic is coming to HBO, folks.
The year was 1998.
Both Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman were riding high in movies, and this year they came out with a plucky little film about witches and dead people and stuff.
And it captured the hearts of... people who liked witches, dead people, and stuff.
And now, those very same people can rejoice because they'll be getting an HBO one hour drama pilot.
It will be adopted from the book of the same name by Alice Hoffman, who also wrote "Practical Magic".
She'll also be producing, which means she'll be close to the project.
Well, Melissa Rosenberg will write and executive produce.
She's the woman who did Jessica Jones, so she's used to making series with strong female leads. So we should be in for some fun!
