People Are Upcycling Bath And Body Works Candle Jars Into Planters

Who here loves their Bath & Bath Body Works candles? They do smell amazing. Don't they? I bet you've got at least a few of them around. Right?

So do you just throw out the empty jars afterward? Well, I'm here to tell you you shouldn't. Instead, you can reuse them into something very creative indeed. Get a load of this idea.

Recently a lady on TikTok posted a video of herself using an old Bath & Bath Body Works candle jar.

What she did with it might surprise you. She used it as a cute planter. Oh wow, what a great idea!

Okay, let me tell you exactly what she did.

The first tip she gave her followers was to put your old candle jar in the fridge. That way, you can easily get all those old candle scraps out of it. What a neat hack, huh?

Then she advised people that the candle jars fit four-inch plant pots perfectly.

Who knew that? I would never have guessed that. And the best part is, the plant doesn't touch the bottom. So it's absolutely ideal for drainage, too.

OMG! Can you believe that? Isn't that so cool?

Now, if you don't like the color of the candle jar, don't worry. You can put it in soapy water, and the color will come off, leaving the container clear. What?

However, if you want to make a colorful planter check out this tutorial from Bath & Body Works.

They suggest you get some bottles of spray paint and water. Spray a few colors into the water until you form a nice pattern and dip the jar inside.

Then when you take the jar out, it comes out looking like this.

Oh my goodness, isn't this the cutest thing ever? I'm blown away by this simple yet creative idea here. Where has this been all my life? Ha, ha!

You can also just leave the candle jar as is.

As much as I love the color dipping idea, I might be too lazy for that. So you can plop the plant into the jar with some soil and voilĂ ! Easy-peasy, right?

Here's another super cute idea.

I wonder what made people think of doing this, huh? I guess somebody must've stumbled upon it and shared it along. That's how it usually works. Now, everybody is going to start doing it, too.

So what's your take on this idea to recycle an old Bath & Bath Body Works candle jar?
