GRRM Finally Revealed If His 'Game Of Thrones' Series Will End Differently

Needless to say, fans were very disappointed (for the most part) with the series finale of Game of Thrones.

Many of them wondered whether or not this was the ending that George R. R. Martin actually wanted. Now, many are wondering how the original series will end.

Warning: Game of Thrones spoilers ahead!

For some, the finale was nothing to brag about.

After eight seasons, the critically acclaimed show has finally come to an end.

It ended with Dany dying, with Bran on the Throne, and Jon at the Watch.

For some, it was awful.

Fans felt like they had dedicated all of their time to a show that basically disappointed them.

For most, it was a waste of time.

Others really appreciated it.

There will always be divided fans, but I'm sure the showrunners are happy to know that not everyone hated their ending.

People are entitled to their opinions, in any case.

One thing that people seem to agree on is Sansa's fate.

Of all the character fates, people seem to be extremely happy with the fact that Sansa took the Winterfell throne in the end.

Fans really took it to heart.

A lot of people hated Sansa at the start of the show, but now, fans are sorry to see her go.

Some fans have loved her since day one, so it was a very important moment for those people.

People were also especially glad to see Ghost return.

We are Ghost stans first and people second.

Seeing Ghost was easily the best part of the episode, no matter who you talk to.

Seriously, fans were so happy to see them back together.

This was especially heartwarming considering that Jon was separated from his family.

It makes us forgive him for not saying goodbye to Ghost.

People are now concerned with how the books will end.

For those who love the books and the show, they are curious and scared of how Martin will end his series.

Some think it will be the same.

That would be...interesting. It would kind of be anti-climatic on Martin's part.

My bet? It's going to be different.

Other fans have very intense theories.

This tweet is really interesting.

It sounds like a great way for the books to end. Maybe Martin will look on Twitter for some inspiration.

But a lot of us have the same wish for the books.

Sansa Stark becoming queen was the perfect end to her otherwise heartbreaking story.

It's what she deserved after all her suffering.

But keep in mind, George R. R. Martin is known for pulling the rug out from under us.

What does that mean?

Simple: none of us can really ever guess what will happen in the final book of Game of Thrones.

George R. R. Martin confirmed that the books will have a different ending.

Well, at least for the most part.

We have no idea what any of this means, but we just hope he hurries it up.

You'll have to decide.

Some people never read the books, so for them, the TV show will forever be the real ending.

What about you? Which will you consider the real ending? Let us know in the comments!
