A Dad Of Four Gets Real About Parenthood With These Hilarious Pics

Simon Hooper is the proud father of four daughters who are aged 11, 8, and three-year-old twins.

Like most dads, his life is full of challenges but along with that comes a lot of humor, too.

Now he's sharing updates from his life on his Instagram account @fathers_of_daughters.

These pics are hilarious and super relatable to all the sleep-deprived parents out there.

Simon first started posting pics with the arrival of his twin daughters, Delilah and Ottilie.

The twins are the youngest of Simon's daughters and he began documenting their milestones on his Instagram.

Every parent knows that teething can turn even the most docile baby into a moody bundle of tears, and here's Simon's take on the phase. Seems about right.

Every parent knows the struggle that is grocery shopping with your kids.

According to Simon, shortly after this photo was taken, he forgot that box of diapers at the check-out and had to return to buy another box. Yup, that sounds about right.

Simon's relatable photos and captions have helped him grow his Instagram to over 900,000 followers!

His popularity online even lead to a book deal.

Every kid goes through an "attachment phase" where they never want to be separated from mom and dad, even if their parents are in the next room.

Here's Simon's proof of that phase in his house as one of his daughters looks on while he tries to take some headshots for his book, Forever Outnumbered.

Simon isn't afraid to show the unglamorous side of parenting.

If you have daughters, then by default, you also have a lot of hair in your house.

As Simon explains, "As a guy, no one warns you that when you have daughters, you're going to spend a good proportion of your future dealing with hair related issues."

Yeah, sorry about that, Simon. It's not going to get any easier for a while.

It also allows him to showcase his creativity. You've gotta give it to a dad who improvises.

Did this power drill-whisk work? Yes, but it also covered Simon's cabinets in cake batter.

At the end of the day, I don't think there's an easy way to bake a cake with toddlers.

This is why some parents give up drinking.

You know when you try to tell yourself that you can have one more and still be functional the next day?

Yeah, every parent has told this lie to themselves. The next time your kids wake you up when you're hungover, remember this photo!

Two words: potty training.

If you've survived this phase of your child's development, congratulations. If, like Simon, you are attempting to do this with twins, I feel for you.

Maybe as an act of solidarity, every parent should be required to post their photo of their soiled kid's clothes.

While his photos are incredibly funny, Simon also uses his account to spread awareness about the issues fathers face.

As you can tell, Simon is extremely involved with his daughters' lives. In this post, he helped spread awareness about the lack of changing tables in men's washrooms using his trademark humor.

We can't wait to see more hilarious photos from Simon and his daughters in the future. Thanks for sharing!
