So when the 37-year-old won a daytime Emmy for her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show she made sure to thank her estranged husband, despite the fact that the couple is separating.
The couple share two children, 6-year-old River 4-year-old Remington, together.
Thankfully, it seems the couple are co-parenting well together as Kelly gave him the sweetest shoutout after her daytime Emmy win this past weekend.
"OH MY GOSH!!!!!! What is happening?!!!! This is amazing!!! Thank y’all so much!!! And a MAJOR thank you to my entire crew that really is the reason I won!!! I can’t wait to celebrate with our whole crew when humans can congregate again!! This calls for a PARTY!!!!" she wrote on social media.
