Before you list or toss your old semi-broken furniture, give it a second look and hop on Pinterest—you never know what treasure your trash could turn into, like this pretty garden bench made from two old dining chairs.
You don't need to throw them in the trash or even get rid of them!
You can totally repurpose them into another functional seating item.
You'll need a couple old chairs, preferably with removable legs, some extra plywood to make the bench, paint, and the necessary materials to make a cushion.
The more ornate the chair, the better! The detailed touches will really give the chair that cozy and chic French provincial style. But honestly, any old dining chair will work.
