Quotes For People Who Have Lost All Sense Of Time

It's no secret that 2020 has been the longest year in history. And at some point, we've all just sort of lost all sense of time.

Now we're kind of just like, floating along, dealing with days that feel like weeks and months that feel like eternities, while we all wonder the same thing: why won't 2020 just end already??

My quarantine started way back at the beginning of March, which honestly feels like it was six years ago now.

I also feel like the person I was before I became a shut-in at my own apartment and the person I am now are totally different. It's like I leveled up (or down, depending on how you look at it) into a new, more anxious and less certain version of myself.

And if I'm being honest, I don't love this version.

The person I am now has absolutely no concept of hours, days, or weeks anymore.

Everything has just sort of melted together into one stinking heap of trash I'm just going to go ahead and call "2020."

After all, it definitely fits.

I know some day we'll all look back on this year and maybe (hopefully?) laugh about it, but that day isn't today.

Speaking of which, does anyone actually know what day it is?

I used to at least know if it was the weekend or not, depending on whether I was at the office, but now that I've been working from home for four months, I've got absolutely nothing to help me distinguish between days on and days off.

But what's interesting is that while some months dragged on, others just flew the heck by without us noticing.

I genuinely couldn't tell you one thing I did in the month of April. I mean, I know I did some things but absolutely nothing stands out from that entire month, and May sort of feels the same way too, now that I think about it.

I guess it's kind of a good thing that time is starting to speed up again, because it's like the universe is trying to right itself and make up for lost time. Or maybe everything is going to suddenly slow down again once July comes. Who really know for sure anymore?

Oh well. I suppose that's all just part of the super fun guessing game that is 2020.
