Couple Builds A Mini Garden Pub To Get The Bar Experience At Home

If you were used to hopping to your favorite pub on a weekly basis, you were probably in for a rude awakening due to the lockdown. Perhaps you resorted to Zoom calls with friends or even threw your own pub crawl at home.

Check out how this one family dealt with the situation by building a pub in their very own backyard. Whoa!

The Crabs family had enough of sitting idle during the pandemic.

Instead, they decided to do something about it, and what they ended up doing was pretty creative, to say the least. They built an actual pub right in their backyard.

OMG, what? Ha, ha! I never would have thought of that.

This is the picture they posted on their Facebook page for their upholstery company, Octavia Chic, showing their backyard before the build. They shared the progress of the whole project with all the final impressive details online for others to see.

Here's the constructed frame of the pub house. I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed by the work put into this already.

Not only does it look cute, but sturdy, too. I can't wait to see more of it. You too?

And now for the final look of the exterior. Ta-da!

Doesn't it look fabulous? It looks just like a regular pub. Ha, ha! Albeit, a slightly smaller version than the usual neighborhood pub. I love the detailed work on the front doors.

Speaking of details, just check this out. I can't say I've ever seen a pub as clean as this.

Usually, they're a little more rough around the edges than this. These guys didn't spare any details to make it look good.

If you were impressed by the outside, wait until you see what's inside.

What did I tell you? Huh? You guessed it, just like a regular pub. But wait, it's a lot more than that. Ha, ha! It's also totally private.

And, of course, it has a real functional bar.

I'm not a big drinker these days, but even I would go for this. These bar stools make it look that much more authentic, too. Am I right? Wow!

As I said, not a big drinker here but get a load of this boozy selection.

I see some of my favorites, hee, hee. I must say, if I had something like this in my backyard my friends would never leave.

And speaking of authenticity, how about this cozy atmosphere?

This looks like a perfect little spot for a romantic date. I wonder if they already took advantage of it. I don't think I could wait too long myself.

I gotta say this is probably the best project during quarantine I've seen so far.

This is the perfect solution to having fun, at-home parties for the next little bit.

There's even a cute faux fireplace to add that extra coziness.

And oddly enough, a sign that says that children and dogs are welcome. I would probably ensure the booze was within reach but otherwise, it's totally okay with me.

And if you want to play a game or two they have you covered.

Fancy a game of darts? Well, they've got it all set up. I dunno about you, but I think I would spend way too much time here.

If this isn't the coziest place to escape reality — especially now — I dunno what is.

I bet once this pandemic is over this place will be hopping with plenty of party-ready neighbors. LOL! Hey, I'd like to be invited, too.

Do you believe this place? I mean, I can't even.

How did they come up with a brilliant idea like this? I can barely get through my days as it is. I give them mad props for creativity and execution.
