Jennifer Lopez' 12-Year-Old Son Encouraged Her To Speak Out About George Floyd

"I am committed to using my platform from this day forward to learn, to speak up about racial injustice and systemic oppression," he continued.

Not to mention the dozens of celebrities that have been making significant donations to causes that support #BLM.

Anyways, most recently Jennifer Lopez shared a video on Instagram from one of the protests, where she marched alongside her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez.

With it, she paired a heartfelt caption, explaining how her son, Max, was the person who influenced her to take a stand.

"Today I had Emme and Max make me and Alex a sign for the protest," she wrote.

She then explained that her son reached out to her, and suggested that since she has such a massive following on social media, she should use it to influence her fans to advocate for anti-racism.

"Max told me a few days ago: 'you know mom, since you have a following like some of my YouTuber gamers and they ask us to support things and we do,'" she explained.

"'You should do that for George Floyd.'"

Anyone else tearing up?

"I said, “funny you say that baby, I am planning a few things,'" she revealed. "'Do you want to help by making a sign?' And they did!"

She revealed that she had a conversation with her children about how justice and equality needs to be everybody's right.

"We talked about how if one person doesn’t have justice then no one does," she went on.

"That this country was built on the belief of freedom and justice for all."

"We must take a stand for what we believe in and fight against the injustices in this world," she wrote.

She concluded by declaring that she and her family will continue to peacefully protest, and support the movement until much-needed changes are actually executed.

"So we continue to peacefully protest until there is change. #BlackLivesMatter #GetLoud #CallingAllMamas #TeachThemYoung," she concluded.

It's so great that J-Lo is teaching her children about racism and involving her them in such a monumental moment in human history.
