A Horse Was Once Given An Impeccably Tailored Tweed Suit

We all have random ideas or bits of whimsy sometimes. You know those thoughts. They happen in line for the bank or waiting for your order at the drive thru, and you start wondering what your cat would look like in a tutu.

Then you wonder why people dress up their pets. And then, when the teenager at the drive thru window asks you to pull ahead to one of the spots to wait even longer, you start wondering why we don't dress up other animals.

Just me? *Fine.*

But even if you've never before wondered what a horse would look like in a tweed suit, now you'll know!

Turns out, they look pretty damn dapper!

The perfectly tailored suit was modelled by a veteran racehorse named Morestead.

Unsurprisingly, this is the world's first Harris Tweed suit made for a horse.

And, of course, it wouldn't be complete without a matching hat.

The suit was made by Emma Sandham-King, a designer with lots of experience as an apprentice to Alexander McQueen.

Still, to say it was a challenge would be an understatement.

The suit took a month to make and 60 feet of tweed.

Obviously, Morestead isn't going to be racing in his fine suit, but the video shows that he has some pretty good mobility while wearing it.

Practical? Of course not, but definitely something you don't see every day.
