'Mister Rogers' Newborn Photoshoot Reminds Us It's A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood

A recent newborn photoshoot is inviting us to take a ride on the Neighborhood Trolley and visit the set of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.

Styled by Tamara Nelson of Gypsy's Corner Photography, this adorable photo series is reminding us that Mister Rogers' message of kindness is still relevant today.

Tamara draws inspiration from beloved characters and pairs them with beautiful, handmade props.

Her recent "Mister Rogers" photoshoot is getting a lot of attention online for transporting us to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.

The photo series features a tiny Mister Rogers in his very own red cardigan.

Tamara collaborated with Pitter-Pats Creations for the baby's outfit and Off My Hooks who made the felted Henrietta puppet.

The set was designed and created by Tamara herself who said it took her about three hours to make.

Tamara said she was inspired to do the shoot after watching the trailer for "A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood".

"With the portrayal of an icon like Fred Rogers, when the movie trailer for A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood was released, I knew I wanted to create this set," she said in an email to Diply.

The recent biopic starring Tom Hanks has been getting a lot of buzz and even scored an Oscar nomination.

The film also stirred up some nostalgia for the classic show, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.

This adorable series has been shared over 300 times on Facebook, with many people praising Tamara and her team's creativity.

"It feels amazing that people like my work and I’m blown away by the positive response," she said.

Even though it's been years since the last "Mister Rogers" episode aired, Tamara thinks people are still drawn to his message of kindness.

"I believe that aside from the movie being popular, it also strikes a chord with a multitude of age groups that watched Mister Rogers Neighborhood on TV as children, as parents with their children, or grandparents with their grandchildren, and his messages of kindness still needs to be heard," she said.
