The Matrix hasn't gotten a sequel in a long time, but thankfully that cycle of no new footage is going to end.
We already knew that the film was getting a fourth movie, but it will actually be happening sooner (ish) rather than later.
We have a date for 2021!
So it might seem far, but we don't want a rushed Matrix movie. You can't rush perfection!
Luckily, if everything goes according to plan, the release date will be in 2021.
