Taylor Swift Perfectly Shuts Down Sexist Question About 'Settling Down'

Taylor Swift has had nothing short of an iconic career. Who could have predicted that the young girl strumming on her lil' rhinestone guitar all those years ago would turn into the beautiful, STRONG and talented woman she is today?!

Well, I could have predicted that cause sis is a STAR.

2019 Taylor has a lot on her mind. Mostly cats, wine and girlfriend time.

Her Instagram is filled with the MOST adorable pictures of the things I just listed above.

You know what her Instagram page *isn't* filled with? Pics of her and her MANS Joe Alwyn, whom she's been dating for two years now!

The 28-year-old British actor and T-Swift haven't really put any of their relationship on social media, which is very mature of them.

Taylor is currently doing press tour for her upcoming album and new single "Me."

During an interview with German news outlet Deutsche Presse-Agentur, Taylor was asked a super distasteful, super sexist question and was quick to shut that ish down.

Taylor will be turning 30 this year, which is truly so wild.

With age comes wisdom, and also the ability to truly pop off at any disrespect in sight.

The interviewer asked if 30 will be a turning point for the singer and for her relationship.

Essentially asking if 30 would mean finally settling down with Alywn to do the whole white picket fence, soccer mom thing.

Since the interview in Germany was in GERMAN (go figure) a fan on Twitter was able to translate her response.

And her response was iconic to say the least.

"I really don't think men are asked that question when they turn 30." HELL NAH THEY'RE NOT, TAYLOR!

Men are literally never asked this.

What T-Swift is looking forward to? “I hear others say that one in his 30s no longer has as much stress and anxiety in life as in my 20s, and I can join in the observation that we are in our twenties looking to gain experience, try things out, fail, make mistakes.”

How fun and edgy of her to say!

It's 2019, can we please stop limiting women to the expectation of "settling down" ?? She's TAYLOR FRIGGIN SWIFT after all

I can't wait to see T-Swift thirty, flirty and thriving!
